Photography for Same-Sex Marriages

Since the recent changes to the law in the UK, I have been privileged to photograph several same-sex marriages. Couples in Gay or Lesbian relationships can now legally marry or have their civil partnership converted.

Everyone should have the right to marry, it's the formal recognition of the love and commitment of two people - love is love!

We have some lovely wedding venues in Kent. Some of my favourites include, Boys Hall, Bradbourne House, the Secret Garden, Bilsington Priory, Winters Barns, Cooling Castle, Lympne Castle, Eastwell Manor, Chilston Park and Port Lympne. Their are many more, but these I have found to be particularly gay-friendly.

Photographing a gay marriage for me is virtually the same as any another. I do find my clients are asking for more relaxed story-telling pictures, which fits perfectly with my contemporary approach. For a little extra fun and entertainment, my Photo Booth Prop Box bursting with quirky and outrageous items can be added free of charge when booking extended evening coverage .

I will always arrange to meet couples 4-6 weeks before the big day at the venue to go through all the timings and coverage. Hopefully we'll get a chance to meet before, so on the actual day itself you both feel totally at ease being photographed by me. I also offer Engagement 'Love' Shoots which is often an excellent way for us to get to know each other. These can be held at your venue or perhaps somewhere that is particularly sentimental to you both. I'm finding that Brighton Pier is very trendy at the moment and an absolutely fantastic location for a fun photo shoot.

So whether you're soon to become the next Mr & Mr Smith or the latest Mrs & Mrs Jones... I'd really love to be part of your very special day.

Please see my packages and pricing page for details of what's included in my photography. I cover Gay Weddings in Kent, London and all the South East.
